Billing cycle for summer modified due to Coronavirus
Please take note that the billing schedule for the Summer 2020 semester has changed from a four monthly payment billing cycle to a three monthly payment billing cycle to provide families with an additional 30 days due to the disruption caused by the Coronavirus. The first bill will be issued in April with payments due:
1st payment due May 3 May 10
2nd payment due June 3 June 10
3rd payment due July 3 July 10
Students who wish to make a payment on their account before the due dates are able to do so. If you have questions, please contact the Business Office at 330-471-8117.
Federal government extends social distancing guidelines until April 30
In his remarks to the nation on Sunday, March 29, President Donald Trump announced that he was extending the nationwide social distancing guidelines to April 30. To adhere to this order, as well as continued direction from national, state, and local health officials, Malone employees can expect to work remotely until at least April 30. Decisions about extending the remote work arrangement beyond that time will be made later in April. Based on this federal extension, we have been forced to cancel all scheduled on campus events and meetings on the Malone campus through April 30.
Updates on operations of the Mailroom
Starting Monday, April 6, the mailroom will be open on Mondays and Thursdays only, with the exception of the week of April 13. In observance of the Easter holiday, the week of April 13, the mailroom will be open on Tuesday and Thursday. Please continue to come to the mailroom for delivery and pickup of mail, as we continue to run on limited staffing during this time. Thanks for your patience and cooperation as we modify operations to comply with direction given to us from the Center for Disease Control.
A reminder about protocols related to closed buildings
A friendly reminder that buildings that have been closed for student use due to restrictions related to the Coronavirus are not to be accessed for any reason. There are safety and security concerns created when entering these facilities which have been designated as closed. If you have questions about restricted spaces, contact your supervisor or Collegium representative.
