Information about vaccinations

COVID-19 vaccines are widely available in the Canton community. Most pharmacies and other providers offer walk-in vaccination services. You may also make appointments at most providers.

The Canton City Public Health offers a COVID vaccination clinic at Malone University East Campus. The Adult Clinic (age 18 and older) is every Thursday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Please use the Get The Shot website to schedule your vaccination. We do offer walk-in opportunities on a limited basis. (This option will not be available at the end of January). Also, Text your ZIP code to 438829 or call 1-800-232-0233 to find vaccine locations near you in the United States.

Note: you may not be vaccinated if you are currently ill with COVID-19 or have not fully recovered (no symptoms) from a previous COVID infection.

Vaccination incentives:

The Canton Public Health Department is offering $100 cash cards for anyone who gets vaccinated for the first time.

Any Malone student, faculty, or staff member who is vaccinated can receive a $10 gift card to a variety of local businesses including Walkie Talkie Coffee, Taggart’s, Dairy Queen, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. To receive your gift card, show your vaccination card to Julia Frankland, professor of business administration. This effort is made possible by the Interfaith Youth Corp (IFYC).
