Host your summer group program at Malone

In the past, Event Services has hosted church or youth group conferences and retreats, high school band camps, local missions trips, and teams who work at or participate in the annual Professional Football Hall of Fame Festival-- the possibilities are endless!

We are happy to assist you in planning your summer group program by:

  • Identifying appropriate dates for your event
  • Creating a mutually-agreeable contract and answering your questions
  • Providing you with campus policies
  • Serving as liaison between you and various campus departments
  • Assisting you with the registration process when your group arrives by distributing residence hall access cards and room keys, as well as when you depart
  • On-call availability to assist you while you are here

Are you planning a missions trip to Canton?

Service to others isn't just needed overseas! Many outreach organizations in our area are looking for new volunteers to serve during the summer months.

Meeting Spaces

Malone has a variety of meeting rooms available. This chart lists facility capacities, rates, and available technology in each room.

Residence Halls/Campus Accommodations

Overnight accommodations are available from mid-May through the first weekend in August. Malone has air conditioned residence halls (suite style with semi-private restroom) as well as non-air conditioned residence halls (traditional style with community restrooms). The majority of sleeping rooms are double occupancy; very few single occupancy rooms are available.

Each room consists of a twin size bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet for each occupant. We recommend that you provide your own linen (pillow, sheets, blanket, towels, and toiletry items). Event Services can arrange to rent linen packages for groups of 30 or more with three weeks advanced notice. Let us know if you would like to obtain pricing for rentals.

Campus Safety is available 24 hours a day.  The University is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Malone University campus is smoke-free and alcohol-free.
