Malone University names new Vice President for Advancement

Barbara Beuscher was named Vice President for Advancement Tuesday after a nationwide search. Beuscher comes to Malone from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where she serves as associate vice chancellor of development and has worked in positions of increasing responsibility since 2007. Beuscher has held a variety of advancement positions throughout her 20-plus year career in the field. Previous positions include major gifts officer at Ripon College and executive director of development and alumni relations at Marian University.

“Barbara has a documented record of successfully working with alumni and friends to secure funding for the institutions she has served,” said Malone President David King. “She has regularly surpassed fundraising goals for major gifts, annual fund, and planned giving. During the interview process, Barbara was able to communicate well her faith journey and her alignment with Malone University’s Christ-centered mission as well as her vision for advancement as we strive to resource our vision.”

Beuscher earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where she is finishing her Executive MBA.

Beuscher and her husband Keith have two children, a daughter, Ellie; and son, Kasey. 

Her first day of work at Malone is October 30.
