Homecoming Family Schedule
We have many opportunities planned for you to enjoy time with your Malone University student.
Online registration is closed. Please call (330) 588-2586 to let us know you're coming!
Older siblings are invited to spend the night in the residence hall with their Malone student, but must be registered with the Office of Student Development. Malone students may register them in person or families may call 330-471-8273.
Malone students on the meal plan will swipe their ID cards at the events they attend with their families.
Friday, October 2
All day: The whole family is invited to check out the deals in the Campus Store, dine in the Hoover Dining Commons, cheer on Pioneer athletes, and visit our beautiful art galleries. Parents and siblings age 12 and older may visit a class. Please check back for classes not open to visitors because of limited space or testing.

|Homecoming/Family Weekend Worship Service||0:05 a.m.||Johnson Center Worship Center||Featuring guest speaker Victoria Bankhead '13, B.A., M.Ed., the Residential Education Graduate Assistant for Housing & Residence Life at Youngstown State University. The Malone University Chorale will sing and the 2015 Homecoming Court is introduced.|
|Malone University Pioneers Homecoming Recital||1 - 2 p.m.||Stewart Room, Barn/Randall Campus Center||Alumni, students and faculty performing.
Be sure to come early, as seating is limited. Refreshments will be served following the concert in Bennett Lounge.

|Stafford Lecture with David Griffith||7:30 p.m.||Johnson Center Chapel||"Pyramid Scheme: Making Art and Being Broke in America" Griffith, director of creative writing at Interlochen Center for the Arts, will discus the ways that the role of the artist in American culture is changing and how this change is connected to large-scale shifts in ethics, morality, and economy.|

|Live music, Karaoke contest, stop by! Families will enjoy the casual atmosphere and great coffee and biscotti.|
|Confections and Contests||9 - 11 p.m.||Bennett Lounge, Barn/Randall Campus Center||Join our game night with board games, card games, celebrity charades, pudding Pictionary, or bring your own favorite game to play! We'll provide beverages and treats from our wonderful AVI Bakery.|

||East Campus Multipurpose Room, corner of 25th Street & Harvard||Tim, a Malone graduate, is a Fellowship of Christian Magicians member who leaves audiences awestruck by his magic while sharing biblical principles. Free event but tickets are required, so register early for your desired time.|
|Open House/Tours of Malone's Animal Collection||9 - 11 a.m.||Timken Science Hall||Get up close and personal with the animals in our campus collection. Presented by the Malone Zoo & Wildlife Biology students who care for the animals.|

|10 a.m.||Deuble Room, Brehme Centennial Center||Susan Stewart, M.A. ’05, Olympian, author, motivational speaker and our 2015 Graduate School Alumna of the Year, will share her story and sign her autobiography, Unbreakable, available for purchase.

Great Pumpkin Hunt, Class Reunion Tables & pictures, Inflatables, Mechanical Bull riding, balloons, face painting, and visit the Pioneer Market featuring alumni vendors and student clubs. The Malone Cheerleaders and Pioneer Spirit Marching Band will stop by too. Be sure to visit our annual Classic Car Show.

Check in at the blue & white Malone tent to enter the drawing to win a Malone sweatshirt. The 2015 Homecoming Court will be introduced and King & Queen crowned at halftime.
