Long-distance running has been a passion for Malone University and our president, Greg Miller, for most of his lifetime. A South Dakota high school champion in the 1,600m and former Class A state record holder, Miller has run marathons across the country, including the Boston Marathon, and has competed in 100 mile and 24-hour races. He is a two-time National U.S. Track and Field Champion in the 100k for his age group.
We invite you to celebrate your love of running, and help us continue our tradition of raising money for scholarships each fall, by participating in the Pioneer 5K with Dr. Miller on Saturday, September 24. Sign up to run (or walk) with Dr. Miller on campus at 8 a.m., or, if you can't make it to campus, sign up for our virtual run to raise money for scholarships when and where you wish.
We are truly blessed to have donors whose gifts continue to allow Malone to enroll students based on their desire to be leaders and disciples of God, and not hindered by their financial limitations. We look forward to working with the Malone community to reach our goal of $150,000 for scholarships this fall.
