First Year Wilderness Trip

A week of canoeing in Algonquin Provincial Park

August 12-19 (the week before Orientation) for first year students!

Wilderness trip

This is a trip for incoming students to get to know other students, explore their faith, talk about the transition to college, enjoy the beauty of God's creation, and be on an adventure!

The trip will be to Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada - a beautiful canoeing park where past participants have spotted moose and loons, and even heard wolves at night!

We will be canoeing, camping, having campfire discussions, eating great food, and immersing ourselves in the wilderness.

Students participating in the trip will receive academic credit for backpacking and canoeing (PE electives) as part of the trip.

The cost is $495 which includes transportation, food for the week, and all equipment. Trip size is limited. A deposit of $100 is due by May 15 to secure a spot.
