Progressive Interactive Display: "A Room with a View"

February 19-24
The Deuble Room
Brehme Centennial Center

"A Room with a View" is a progressive representation of eating disorders among college students.

It begins with a room depicting average college life surrounded with the media Images that impact the formation of the perception of what one “should look like.”

The second room portrays distortions that take place in the thought processes of one in the beginning stages of an eating disorder.

The third room, despair, represents the surroundings of someone in a full blown struggle with an eating disorder.

Lastly, the fourth room communicates hope for recovery and has a couple of interactive stations for viewers to participate in activities that challenge the thought processes that feed the eating disorder.
