What To Bring

This packing list is designed to help you prepare for your Nursing Camp class sessions, as well as participation in evening social activities-- usually held outside (weather-permitting). If you have questions about this list, please contact the Academic Camps Director.

Casual summer attire is appropriate for Nursing Camp. Modest casual dress including jeans, shorts, and t-shirts are acceptable for camp activities. Shorts should be no shorter than halfway between the top of the knee and the top of the thigh. Midriff style and sleeveless shirts are not allowed. The academic buildings utilized during the day are air-conditioned and can be a bit chilly. Please plan accordingly.

For the hospital field trip, business casual attire is required. We recommend young men bring dress shoes, casual dress pants, and a casual dress shirt. We recommend women bring close-toed shoes, casual dress pants, or dress shirt with sleeves. OSHA requirements are that all hospital guests must wear closed toe shoes for a tour.

For the EMS activity, since you will be climbing in and out of an ambulance, please bring jeans and sneakers.
