NOW Recruiting for Fall 2020
The Malone University's Men's Rugby program is comprised of students from Stark State College and Malone University. New players are always welcome to try out at any point during the season. Practices begin August 19th and will continue through early November. Spring Season starts February 2nd through April. Practices are Monday and Wednesday from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Blossom Field on Malone's Campus (across from Hazen track and soccer field). ABOUT:
The Malone University Men's Rugby program was established in the spring of 2019. Our mission is to promote the sport of rugby through representing our university at the highest level while maintaining the five character-building values of rugby: discpline, integrity, respect, passion, and solidarity. We aim to apply these values to our training, competitions, and life away from the rugby pitch as student athletes. The brotherhood on the team goes beyond the on-field battles, creating friendships and bonds lasting a lifetime.
The Malone Men's Rugby program competes in NSCRO DIII Great Lakes Rugby Football Conference. During the fall semester, the team competes in league matches for rugby XVs. In the spring, the Malone program will participate in both rugby 7s and rugby XVs, while attempting to compete in at least one NSCRO 7s national qualifier tournament. Players are trained to compete with weekly practice sessions, fitness and agility workouts, classroom meetings, and regimented weightlifting.

Practices are scheduled for Monday & Wednesday from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Blossom Field on Malone's Campus, which is between buildings 14 and 15 on the
Malone Campus Map.
