Chamber Music Camp
When: June 18-23, 2017
Where: Malone University
Who: Students entering grades 7-12
Cost: varied, and all-inclusive (meals, field trip fees and transportation, and a t-shirt)
$400 for commuters:
Students entering grades 7 -9 are invited to be a commuter student between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Cost includes lunch and dinner, as well as participation in all evening activities, recitals, and field trips.
$475 for residents:
Students entering grades 10-12 are encouraged to participate in the full pre-college experience of residence life. In addition to daily camp activities, residents enjoy dorm life and building friendships in a casual setting. All meals are included.

In collaboration with the Canton Symphony Orchestra, Malone faculty will coach pianists, woodwind, and string players in the art of listening and communication like professional musicians in a chamber ensemble setting.
Students will rehearse individually and in small groups with the goal of improving technical skills and musical creativity. An audition will be required.
