About Justin Dye
Justin Dye taught most recently at Pymatuning Valley Schools in Andover, where he led all instrumental ensembles grade 5-12 and previously served as the elementary music teacher. During his time there, Justin more than doubled the size of the band program and established a flourishing music culture. His students and ensembles frequently performed in OMEA Adjudicated Events earning Superior and Excellent ratings.
He is currently working on his DME in Music Education and has studied under conducting teachers including Stephen L. Gage, David Donelson, Jon C. Peterson, Steven Grimo, and Tim Paul. Justin studied Trombone with Andrew Mitchell and Tom Pylinksi. Justin is passionate about using the band program to create and train well rounded musicians and leaders of tomorrow. He is also very active in his local church, leading worship and serving in various ministries. He is most proud of his beautiful family, his wife Sonni and three daughters.
