Malone University and Schneller partner for Learn and Earn initiative

Malone University today announced a new Learn & Earn partnership with Schneller, a leading manufacturer of engineered laminates and materials for the aviation and rail industries.
Headquartered in Kent, Ohio, Schneller is recognized worldwide for its innovation in custom design, durability, and performance. Through this partnership, students in Malone’s Health and Natural Sciences division, particularly those studying chemistry, will gain hands-on experience in the industrial applications of chemistry. By working alongside professionals at Schneller, students will see firsthand how their academic training translates into solutions that impact global industries.
The Learn & Earn initiative is designed to connect Malone students with organizations across northeast Ohio, giving them opportunities to apply classroom learning, develop workforce readiness, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Through this collaboration, Schneller gains access to motivated, well-prepared students while Malone students gain the advantage of practical experience in a world-class facility.
“Malone University is committed to developing the next generation of talent in science and technology,” said Blaise Brankatelli, director of external partnerships at Malone. “This partnership with Schneller gives our chemistry students invaluable exposure to industrial practices in advanced manufacturing, showing them the many doors their education can open. Together, we are preparing Pioneers not just for successful careers, but for impactful contributions to science, industry, and society.”
While the Learn & Earn partnership with Schneller most directly benefits chemistry majors, students from other Health and Natural Sciences programs who have a strong chemistry base will also have opportunities to engage in this experiential learning model.
