Preparation for the Ohio Assessments for Educators School Counselor Test

The master’s program in School Counseling at Malone prepares graduates for licensure as school counselors in the state of Ohio. The curriculum aligns with the academic requirements established by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce for the Professional Pupil Services license in school counseling.

Graduates who complete the required coursework, practicum, and internship experiences are eligible to sit for the appropriate Ohio Assessments for Educators School Counselor Test as part of the licensure process. The program is structured to prepare candidates to support the academic, career, and social-emotional development of PK–12 students in school settings.
