Through a combination of general education and specialized coursework, Malone’s Associate of Arts in Early Childhood Education builds academic understanding and hands-on knowledge of child development, teaching methods, curriculum design, and inclusive classroom practices.
Upon completion of the program, you will understand how to care for children on a deeper level, fostering skills that support their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth in diverse and caring environments. You will also be equipped with a solid foundation to pursue future studies in the field of education.
The program does not lead to an Ohio teaching license.

Faith Integration
The education program at Malone prepares teacher candidates to follow God’s calling on their lives into a variety of P-12, Christian, and private school settings. Through prayer, Scripture, and personal example, our faculty members integrate faith into the curriculum so you’re prepared to show Christ to your students in whatever ways are most suitable for your teaching setting.
