About David Beer
David Beer is an associate professor of political science and director of the history and political science programs. He also serves as director of the Center for Christian Faith and Culture at Malone. As a political theorist who specializes in the thought of Augustine, Charles Norris Cochrane, and Eric Voegelin, Beer works at the intersection of philosophy, politics, and theology. Alongside teaching courses in political philosophy, political theology, American politics, and law, he is also an ordained priest in the Anglican Church of North America.
