About Valerie Grisak
Valerie Grisak is a licensed independent social worker who holds a supervisory designation. Before coming home to Malone, she practiced in the mental health field for more than 25 years, working primarily with children and adolescents, and their families. She has completed extensive training that focuses on helping others heal from trauma and has been blessed to walk alongside clients as a light unto Christ who plants seeds of hope as she serves. In addition to teaching Malone students, she is looking forward to using her experiences and knowledge for future research to enhance the field of social work.
