About Elizabeth Roe
Elizabeth Patterson Roe is a professor of social work and directs the Center for Intercultural Studies at Malone. Her practice and research areas include international social work, international development, practice with immigrants and community and organizational development, at home and abroad. Prior to working at Malone, Patterson Roe lived in Romania, supporting Romanian social service leaders in their leadership development. She now lives in the city of Akron and is involved in intentional living through practicing the principles of Christian community development.
