About Kathryn Huisinga
Kathryn Huisinga and her husband, Mike, live in Akron with their two children, Sam and Ellie, and their dog and cats. When not in the classroom or the lab, she enjoys running, skiing, yoga, hiking, reading and traveling with her family. Huisinga is passionate about increasing diversity in STEM. She has been involved in the Malate Dehydrogenase CURE Community (MCC) to facilitate bringing research into my classrooms.
