About Marcia Everett
Marcia Everett is a professor of communication and program director of communication arts and digital arts, and serves as the director of The College Experience. She loves the discipline of communication studies, in part because what is studied and explored enables students to live more faithfully in relationships, work, and worship. Working with students through The College Experience has cultivated her interest in and research about the first-year experience. She has two adult children and lives in an old house in Canton that they fixed up. She enjoys hiking, travel, cooking, trying new restaurants, reading, coffee, and spending time with friends.
