About Tanesha Rorie

Tanesha Rorie has more than 10 years of teaching experience and has served in various capacities in professional counseling organizations, including as the president for the Ohio Association for Counselor Education & Supervision. Her research interests include areas of cross-cultural counseling and supervision, social justice and advocacy, and black mental health experience, as well as sports counseling and postpartum counseling. She has numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Counseling and Development, Journal of Multicultural Counseling and Development, and Counselor Education and Supervision. She regularly presents at conferences at the local, state, and national levels. In addition to her faculty role at Malone, she also has a private counseling practice.
