Engage in understanding beyond the limited view of pacifism: our peace tradition calls for individuals to practice peace and reconciliation.

Become a well-rounded and peacekeeping follower of Christ as you integrate the peace tradition with another course of study. Learn from committed Christ-following professors as you seek to view conflict in a broad way, including alleviating and repairing conflicts.

Whether you’re familiar with the Friends tradition or not, Malone’s peace and reconciliation minor will help you process your questions about conflict resolution and living peaceably with your neighbors.

Friends emphasize putting beliefs into action, thus demonstrating loving concern for others. “Jesus said, ‘Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.'” (Matthew 5:44). This is our example today in a society steeped in hate, revenge, and violence.
