According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, social work jobs are growing at a rate much faster than average. We offer a rigorous curriculum that gives you the training you need to pass be an effective helping professional who empowers others. Our accredited bachelor’s degree also gives you the qualifications to take an pass the LSW exam. This can open up a variety of job opportunities only available with this degree and license.
In fact, our social work students collectively have a higher than average passing rate for the license in social work exam. Two-thirds of our students go on to graduate school! Because our program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), graduates are eligible for one year advanced standing programs should they choose to continue their education.

Expand your cultural horizons by pursuing semester abroad service-learning opportunities
Ever wondered how your God-given skills could be used in another country? You can do one of your social work internships abroad through our study abroad programs! Additionally, each year, 1-3 week service learning trips are offered to Malone students to travel and pursue cultural learning in a variety of communities.

Chemical Dependency Counseling minor
Malone’s chemical dependency counseling minor offers a chance to support individuals in our community during their most challenging moments. This program prepares you to embrace and deliver compassionate care to clients through a diverse curriculum and hands-on learning experiences.
Global and International Studies minor
