About Christina Schnyders

Christina Schnyders is a professor of counseling and human development and serves as provost at Malone. She is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisory status. Her scholarly work focuses on counseling termination, emerging adult counseling, and clinical supervision. Schnyders has served clients in individual and group counseling, college counseling, and private practice settings. She was named the Ohio Counselor Educator of the Year for 2020 by the Ohio Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (OACES). In her spare time, Schnyders enjoys playing the violin and guitar, drinking strong coffee, bike rides, and traveling with her family.
