About Jason Courter

Jason Courter was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and grew up working on his family's Christmas tree farm. In 2013, he moved to Canton to join Malone’s faculty and contribute to its unique and growing Zoo and Wildlife Biology Program. He is grateful for the opportunities that he has had throughout his career to share his passions for science, teaching, and faith integration with many talented and motivated students. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys traveling, birding, playing the guitar, and spending time with his wife, Lynn, and their four children.
