About Julie Harris
After graduating from Malone in 1999, Julie Harris worked as an elementary and middle school teacher in North Canton City Schools for several years. She eventually transitioned into working as a school librarian, both at the elementary and middle school levels. After several years in the public school system, Harris left the education field to work in a public library. She started working as a Children’s
Librarian at Stark Library, where she also served as a youth services manager, branch manager, and eventually the programming and events manager.
