About Scott Waalkes
Scott Waalkes has taught at Malone since 1998. Before coming to Malone, he earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Calvin University and a master's degree and doctorate in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia. Waalkes is the author of a book as well as several articles, book chapters, and book reviews in international studies. His current passions revolve around vocation and calling as well as how to mentor students toward life after college. Waalkes and his wife, Michele, a Malone graduate, have three adult children. His hobbies include traveling, reading, and playing bocce.
