Malone University presents “Moments with Martin,” a staged autobiography of Martin Luther King, Jr.
The Malone University Office of Multicultural Services is excited to offer the dramatic presentation “Moments with Martin” – an orally staged autobiography of the life of the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Tuesday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Stewart Room of the “Barn” at the center of Malone’s campus.
The performance features Reverend Dr. John H. McCants Jr., pastor at St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church Canton and a seasoned community theater actor, director, and producer. This dynamic presentation will include personification, narration, and original video footage reflecting Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and experiences.
“We are excited to bring this drama and provocative perspective to our campus,” said Andrea Ramsey, director of multicultural services. “It will prove to be a unique and enjoyable way to learn more about the life and work of Dr. King.”
“Moments With Martin” is open to the public at no cost, but a freewill offering will be collected.
