In his daily work as a conservation researcher, Sockman’s primary goal is to leave Ohio species better than where he found them. Still early in his career, his legacy is bound to embody his love for wildlife and his desire for others to know that conservation succeeds when people care enough to unite and act.

We cranked up Rush to the “Max” this year by inviting some local friends to help us welcome Maxamoose home! We also launched Max’s signature ice cream flavor, “Max’s Cookie Crush,” courtesy of @2_scoopzcanton here in Canton. 🫎🍦
Our students also enjoyed an evening of connecting with different campus clubs and organizations, and discovering how campus involvement can be part of the bigger picture and purpose at Malone.
Back with a new look, but still the same old character we all know and love, Max will be making his debut soon! 🫎
Rush, THIS WEDNESDAY, be there Pioneers to see the moose on the loose! 🔴🔵

During the first week of each school year, our campus community comes together to praise the Lord and recognize students for their outstanding academic achievements at the Fall Academic Convocation.
President Miller’s convocation address emphasized the importance of placing faith over fear so that we grow to trust His timing and provision in all circumstances.
“God is our refuge and strength, an over-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.” Psalm 46: 1-2 (NIV)
A recap of the second half of an unforgettable Welcome Week with our Pioneers. 🔄
We are confident in the Lord’s unfailing provision for the 2026-27 school year! ✏️
Welcome Week Highlight: Into The Streets 🛣️🔴🔵
Into The Streets is a long-time initiative our first-year Pioneers participate in where they journey out into the community to serve our neighbors before classes even start.
We’re honored to be a university that provides students with a college experience where they can learn, have fun, and leave a positive impact through tangible Kingdom work!
Welcome Week Highlight: Section Connection 🔗🔴🔵
Section Connection is a big part of Welcome Week where our Pioneers grow closer with their CORE 100: The College Experience group through games and teamwork building activities.
