Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC)
The curriculum of the clinical mental health counseling program at Malone is carefully designed to provide you with a comprehensive, flexible, and rigorous educational experience. Offered in both synchronous and asynchronous online formats, this program consists of a combination of coursework, practicum, and internships, all of which are structured to be completed within a time frame of two to three years, depending on your pace and desired schedule.
Whether you are looking to fast-track your education or balance your studies with personal or professional commitments, this program is designed to accommodate a variety of needs and goals in preparation for the National Counselor Licensure Examination at the conclusion of the program.
School Counseling
The School Counseling program at Malone University is designed to prepare you for a fulfilling and impactful career as Licensed Professional School Counselors in Ohio. As a graduate of this program, you will be fully equipped to work effectively with students, families, and school staff across grades K-12, helping to promote the academic, emotional, and social well-being of students in a variety of educational settings.
Our program is grounded in a holistic approach to counseling, emphasizing the development of the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. Through a combination of coursework, practicum, and internships, students gain the practical experience and theoretical knowledge necessary to navigate the diverse challenges school counselors face.
