Course Descriptions
ENG 145: English Composition
Provides students with practice in reading and writing for clear communication. It will be taught keeping in mind our Anabaptist principles and values. Emphasizes writing as a recursive process and offers practice in reading and responding to expository essays. Students explore language as a means of discovering and communicating truth.
HIST 250: History of Anabaptism
Allows the student to gain a substantial introduction to Anabaptist history, theology, and thought. It will examine the factors that shaped the early development and rise of this revolutionary movement. The class will compare the similarities and differences between the Roman Catholic Church, the Protestant Reformers, and the early Anabaptists. The student will learn to look at the movement through the lens of their placement in the social structure and class systems of the northern European world.
