Malone 2026 BSN graduates pass NCLEX Exam at 100% pass rate

According to the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, the 2025 national average pass rate for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) was 86.7 percent. The 2026 results will be available in early 2027.

This is the sixth time in Malone’s history that every graduate passed the NCLEX on their first attempt – the first achievement occurred in 2005. This year’s success marks a 94% average first time NCLEX pass rate over the last ten years; it also coincides with 100% job placement for Malone BSN graduates over the last decade.  

The NCLEX was recently updated to reflect the evolving landscape of nursing, and it evaluates how the next generation of nurses are prepared to incorporate the skills of clinical judgment and decision-making into their work.

 “We are so very proud of these newly licensed registered nurses and the hard work they put in throughout the program,” said Carrie Stroup, DNP, interim provost and chief nurse administrator. “We cannot wait to see the impact they make in their professional journeys as they live out their callings.”
