Malone University named Bible-based University of the Year by Education Insider Magazine

A definitive source for a holistic exploration of the ever-evolving world of education, Education Insider delves into the technological and non-technological aspects of the education industry, offering a well-rounded perspective that embraces the entire educational landscape.

The honor was created “to recognize an institution that excels in academic achievement while fostering spiritual growth and leadership.”

Faith integration in course curriculum, and the ways in which faculty members individually disciple students toward Christ, are key factors in differentiating Bible-based universities from others in the marketplace. For Malone, this is essential. 

“At Malone, our approach to blending faith and learning is truly unique,” said Carrie Stroup, DNP, interim provost. “To support our professors in this work, we give second- and third-year faculty a course release each fall to join an interdisciplinary seminar. Together, they examine how to thoughtfully weave a Christian perspective into every discipline—from history and English to social work, the sciences, and more. We believe this intentional integration helps students see how faith informs their entire worldview, preparing them to serve their communities with Christ-like compassion.”
