Malone University, Stark State College sign articulation agreement

Leaders at Malone University and Stark State College signed an articulation agreement today in a public event formalizing a more direct pathway for Stark State students to finish their degrees at Malone.

"There is a lot of rich common ground that we share," said Malone President David King. "First, we're about meeting students' needs and helping them persist in getting their degrees. We're also about our community - and how me might engage our community, and how our programs meet the needs of our community. Finally, we're committed to equipping students to serve as leaders, who will in turn become the social fabric of our community."

A specific agreement particularly helps students with an associate degree in nursing from Stark State to continue on for a bachelor of science in nursing degree at Malone; a general agreement solidifies a stronger intent on partnering between the institutions to align curriculum for numerous programs as the partnership grows.
