Bio

After a very fulfilling career as a school counselor at Sandy Valley Junior-Senior High School and Green High School where I served as the director of student services, I have enjoyed teaching in higher education for the past ten years. In addition to my work at Malone University where I teach School Counseling Internship I & II, I enjoy teaching General Psychology and Introduction to Gerontology at Stark State College. Additionally, I have been fortunate to continue my work as a school counselor, by serving as a part-time college counselor at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. This gives me the unique perspective of one who participates in the education of individuals from high school to graduate school. I continue to grow in my Christian faith through involvement at Centenary United Methodist Church and through my role as an editorial team member for The Wired Word where I contribute to a weekly publication of adult Sunday School Curriculum based on current events.
