STTI, Pi Chi Chapter Request for Funds
At the October 2016 meeting of the Pi Chi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International, the Board of Directors established and unanimously approved the following parameters to guide the solicitation, review, and awarding of funds for the purposes of scholarly activities by our active chapter members and others:
- Maximum amount budgeted for all awards in a cycle to be declared each September and will represent 15% of Chapter's total holdings;
- Applicants may be funded once per cycle; multiple awards to one person in a cycle will not be permitted;
- All funded projects or requests will be subject to review by the Board - thus each awardee will be required to provide the Board with a summary of their completed project/poster/presentation.
Further, the members acknowledged ongoing approval of the application form entitled "Request for Pi Chi Chapter Support." (PDF Version or complete below.)
This form is to be used for any and all applications for funding support and retained as part of the Chapter's budget documents.
Applications will be accepted biannually and must be received by January 31 or August 31 to be considered in that year.
Preference given to Pi Chi members and Malone University students. Open to all STTI members.
