Your Malone story begins at Orientation
It's the beginning of developing new friendships, making important decisions, and becoming part of the Malone community. We can't wait to meet you!
When you first arrive on campus, there's a whirlwind of activity to help you get acquainted with your new home. You'll be spending a lot of time with one particular group of people: your Gen 100: The College Experience section. This program was carefully developed to help ensure the success of first year students in college. It's a few days at Orientation, and then you'll meet as a class once a week throughout the Fall semester and also gather outside of class a few times each semester. Each section includes a carefully selected upperclass "Course Assistant" (CA) student, who serves as a welcoming mentor for incoming students, helps facilitate your class, and teaches you the ins and outs of life at Malone.
Please note: Orientation is required for all new students.
