Graduate Assistant - Wellness Center and Exercise Science

Malone University is seeking a Graduate Assistant to provide support to the Wellness Center and the Exercise Science program. The graduate assistant will report to the Director of the Wellness Center and the faculty members in the Exercise Science program and must adhere to the University and departmental by-laws and guidelines. Responsibilities include performing wellness assessments for both on-campus and off-campus populations, creating wellness material to be distributed throughout the campus, developing wellness programing and performing other duties as assigned. In addition, the graduate assistant will assist in the development and planning of campus wide health and wellness events.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree in exercise science, physical education or a related field is required. Knowledge of how to perform wellness assessments and develop wellness programming for a healthy population is crucial. A passion for working with others and a commitment to faith integration and character development is essential.
