Become a business-savvy wildlife rehabilitation professional

For those who have a heart for animals and the mind of an entrepreneur, the Wildlife Rehabilitation minor will prepare you for careers in this emerging field of study. Extending beyond the skills of animal husbandry, you will thoroughly investigate all aspects of rehabilitative care including standards and ethics, natural history, human and animal safety, humane solutions and public education, as well as caging requirements and release criteria. You will be equipped to establish rehabilitation facilities through fundamentals in accounting, management, and marketing. And upon course completion, you will have fulfilled the class training requirement for an Ohio Division of Wildlife Category 1 Rehabilitation Permit.
