Finance careers lead the world
How do people, businesses, and governments raise the money needed to do business?
Learn the principles of economics and how to invest. Study personal, business, and international finances as you prepare for your future. The career outlook for finance majors is extremely healthy: jobs in finance are on the top ten list for most plentiful jobs in the next 10 years, as companies strive to bring integrity and stewardship back into their financial management of assets for future growth and sustainable goals.
You’ll learn to plan for the long term to help a business be successful now — and five, ten, and 20 years down the road. You’ll learn how to understand the economy and stock market, learn how to create and manage budgets, and practice making wise investment decisions. In addition to courses in accounting, economics, and business, you’ll also take courses in marketing, management of information systems, and Christian ethics.
You’ll also have the opportunity to pursue a number of internships to help further your career after graduation — and perhaps add a business analytics or other minor.
